Joliet Professional Pharmacy, and our second location KODO Pharmacy, are family-owned, independent pharmacies that have been serving the Joliet community since 1969.
Chip Kodiak and his partner Dennis Dombrowski founded Joliet Professional Pharmacy and the two lifelong friends also opened KODO Pharmacy on the east side of Joliet, just a few miles from Silver Cross Hospital – two locations to serve the community. Chip worked as a pharmacist at both stores until his passing in 2011. Denny is still working at KODO Pharmacy today.
Chip's son, Chad Kodiak, carries on the family tradition working as a pharmacist at both pharmacies and continues to keep up with the high standards that his father established when he and Denny opened the pharmacies. Chad, Denny and the entire staff continue to take pride in offering the highest level of customer service, quality products, and fast service - at the most competitive price.
Not only do both stores fill prescriptions for walk-in patients, but they are also trusted by doctors, prescribers, hospitals, community health departments, and long-term care facilities throughout Illinois.
We also serve numerous community organizations, including - United Cerebral Palsy, Joshua Arms of LSSI, Cornerstone Services, Will County Health Department, Aunt Martha’s, Sertoma Centre, among others.
The co-pay is the same no matter where you go, so come experience the difference - the superior care of a local, independent pharmacy. Our goal is to keep you healthy and happy! We look forward to the opportunity to meet you!
